The Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conferences are the work of its Alumni and Volunteers. Without their dedicated leadership and involvement in every region of Canada, the Conferences simply would not happen.

The Conference Secretariat are the individuals who help guide the Conference.

Sébastien served as Deputy Director of Operations for the 2017 and 2015 Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conferences. The 250 conference members gathered for the opening plenary, then criss-crossed the country in their study groups, before returning to Ottawa for the closing plenary. Sébastien was responsible for the coordination of 16 separate study tours, transportation, accommodation, travel planning and budgeting, and liaison with volunteer committees across Canada.

Sébastien holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in Business Administration from the Collège préuniversitaire Nouvelles Frontières. He is originally from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region in Québec, and is fluently bilingual in English and French.
